China's Taiwan Mustangs team will be represented by DeMarcus Cousins, Dwight Howard, and Quinn Cook in the upcoming Asian Tournament (TAT) in July, according to insider Shams. The TAT, initially rumored to be a defunct ABL Southeast Asian professional basketball league, is actually a new format of competition, not a new league. Each event will be hosted by different countries with varying rules and formats, such as round-robin or group stages, with champions crowned at each stop and points awarded. Local teams will also be invited to participate, and it is expected that 2-3 NBA superstars will join, making the games even more exciting. Seven teams from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan have already been confirmed to participate, with the tournament set to begin in mid-April and run for five stops. The reported venues include Foshan, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Zhengzhou, and Manila. Each stop will last nine days, with each team playing six games, and the playoffs scheduled for the end of July. In related news, Dwyane Wade's son, Zaire, won his first championship in the Guangdong stop of the Asian Tournament.
